The Acting Process is a 5-Stage 16 month program utilizing the acronym S.C.E.N.E. developed for class and one on one training

STAGE 1:  SEARCH

In this intro stage of our training program, Actors will be introduced to Script Analysis.  At The L.o.A.A. we focus on KNOWING your lines, not memorizing them.  This will allow Actors to make stronger, knowledgeable  and more truthful choices about their scene based on the given text.

STAGE 2:  CREATE

In this stage of our training program, Actors will be work on Character Development, relationship and backstory.  Utilizing what they learned from Stage 1, along with imagination and personalization tools, Actors will bring characters off of the page and into the world by understanding the wants, needs and mission of the character in their scenes.

STAGE 3:  ENGAGE

In this stage of our training program Actors dive deeper into the text and begin to build the world around them for their audience.  By engaging the people, places and things mentioned in the text Actors will utilize sensory work, relationship and movement techniques to immerse themselves and the audience into the character's world.

STAGE 4:  NAVIGATE

In this stage of our training program Actors now learn to navigate their choices as they move deeper into the text by understanding the tone, rhythm and subtext in each scene.  With fully fleshed out characters and a true understanding of their environment and given circumstances, Actors will feel their truth displayed through performance from within and not come across as "acting" for the audience.

STAGE 5:  EXECUTE

In this final stage of our training program Actors are now ready to hit the stage and screen utilizing all tools and techniques learned throughout their training!  This Stage will have Actors work on a piece and have it performance ready for a showcase.
